About Us
We are dedicated custodians of Cuplahills Farm – the latest generation in our family to care for, develop and share this stunning wee corner of Scotland.
We’re a farming family ...
We’re a farming family and as such, custodians of the countryside. It is important to us that our lodges not only offer a low carbon footprint holiday but that we’re also able to provide a touch of rural luxury at affordable prices.
Our lodges are a welcome addition to our working farm. We have a passion for Cuplahills.
What our family began, we are continuing. Our farm can no longer sustain people the way it once did. Diversification is an often-used word – but we are taking a generational view, not diversifying for diversification sake, but to ensure Cuplahills will be here for generations to come.

We’ve brought disused buildings back to life by creating stabling – used by local horse owners.
In 2012, we built and launched our self-catering business. The lodges stand alongside Willie’s Wood overlooking the Eden Valley.
We’ve added picnic benches to the woodland to allow all to make more of the land and view.
We love this farm, the hillside and our unique views – and we want to share them with others.
Cuplahills is a warm and welcoming farm with great attention paid to ensuring that we take time and effort to ensure that the countryside, wildlife, flora and fauna are enhanced at every opportunity.
Enjoy the amazing views and many wonderful walks through woodland and on our farm tracks: our guests have every opportunity to embrace the countryside and feel welcomed in a truly exceptional part of east Scotland.

We take real delight in knowing that realising our dream has helped to create unforgettable memories for hundreds of families – and their dogs – from home and abroad who’ve holidayed with us.
Our capacity for guests is 24.
We’re employing local people, buying local good and services – and recommending local businesses to our guests. It is all about sustainability.
In early 2020, we undertook a complete refurbishment of our first two lodges … and as the Covid-19 restrictions eased, we were delighted to welcome back guests to Cuplahills …
So if you’re looking for a holiday in a fabulous lodge in Scotland’s beautiful countryside – close to the sea and with activities for all ages on your doorstep – St Andrews Country Lodges is the destination for you!

A word from our guests...

The views from Coulthard are uninterrupted- buzzards , kestrels , brown hares , rabbits , deer all available to watch !
It’s a good base for all of Fife with lots to see and do .
Not that far to Firth of Forth or Dundee either . St Andrews very close .
There is a children’s play area with a trampoline and swings etc - just be aware that the nearby fence is electric but there is a warning sign behind the trampoline .
The lodge was comfortable and well equipped . Smart TV so you can log on to your streaming apps etc . Good quality wifi .
4 lovely goats who do a wee trip out when their field being tended to . Horses in surrounding fields .
There is a wee circular walk from the lodges around the lanes and circling back via Willies woods behind the lodges .
Bins on site inc glass so you don’t have to find recycling sites.
Lovely green roofs . Whirligig washing drier behind each lodge - nice and windy so things dry quickly !
Each has a gas bbq you can use too.
Each has an enclosed veranda / deck with lazy Susan outdoor table and dining chairs . Small dogs could theoretically escape though so beware .

Spectacular views from the lodges
There is a small play area and the kids love the trampoline. Stephen is a fabulous host and the farm tour is such a treat. We have eggs this morning that the children collected last night!
Really recommend.

As mentioned in many of the reviews the location is absolutely stunning, the lodges are well kitted out and clean.
Stephen the owner is very friendly and amenable.
Everyone agreed they were a good find and wood like to return in the future.
